2 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic, sliced thin

1 (28 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes

1/2 cup chopped fresh basil

garlic salt and garlic pepper to taste

1/4 cup vodka

1 lb penne pasta

1 pt heavy cream or fat free half and half

Parmesan Cheese to taste

1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook garlic in olive oil until tender and lightly browned, 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, breaking up a bit with fork. Stir in basil, salt and pepper and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in vodka and cook 15 minutes more.

2. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.

3. Stir cream into sauce and cook 10 minutes more. Toss with hot pasta and sprinkle cheese to taste.
