2 lb bacon, 2" pieces
1 ½ lb mushrooms
1 lb onion, 1" dice
1 cup cream
8 eggs
½ cup Parmesan cheese
2 lb fettuccine
2 T butter, unsalted
Red pepper flakes
olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon, drain on paper towel. Cook onions in oil, med heat until soft, not brown; drain on paper towel. In same pan, melt butter; cook mushrooms until almost tender. Return bacon and onion to pan, mix. Lower heat to low.
In bowl, beat eggs, cream and cheese. Drain cooked pasta and place in large preheated bowl. Put bacon, onion, mushrooms on pasta. Pour egg mixture over and toss. Serve with extra Parmesan and red pepper flakes.
For two: 1 pkg refrigerated fettuccine, 3/4 C cream, 1/4 cup Parmesan, 3 eggs, 1/3 lb bacon (6-7 slices), 1 lg onion, 8 oz mushrooms, pinch red pepper flakes.
