1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chunky applesauce
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground gloves
1 c. raisins and nuts (Optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat Oven 350 degrees. Grease the bottom of a bread loaf pan.
Beat brown sugar and butter with electric mixer for 2 minutes. Beat in egg, vanilla and applesauce. Stir in flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and gloves. Pour batter into pan. Bake 45 to 1 hour or until tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes.
