1 tablespoon chopped onion
1 tablespoon chopped celery

1/2 tablespoon sweet basil
Dash oregano to taste
Dash black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon salt
1 (2.5 pound) can tomato puree
2 (6 oz) cans tomato paste
1 tablespoon sugar
2 cups water

Brown the top 3 items (garlic, onion, celery). Place all items in sauce pan, stir at simmer for 2 hours.
Prevent burning or scorching.
