3 qts. popped popcorn
1/4 c. white corn syrup
1 1/2 c. peanuts (opt.)
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. soft butter

Directions:
Directions:
Start with 3 qts popped popcorn. Place in large brown grocery bag and add peanuts, if desired. In 2 qt. microwave glass dish, combine brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt. Microwave on high 3-4 minutes, stirring after each minute until mixture comes to a boil. Microwave 2 more minutes. Stir in baking soda. Pour mixture over popcorn in bag. Close bag and shake. Roll top of bag tight. Microwave on high 1 1/2 minutes. Shake bag well. Microwave again 1 1/2 minutes more. Shake bag well. Open bag and pour into large bowl and stir while it cools.
