2 cups Flour
1/2 cup Sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 cup Applesauce
1/2 cup Milk
1 1/2 tbsp Shorting, Liquid or Melted
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients together (sift if not using per-sifted flour) Mix shortening and egg together, then add applesauce and milk and mix. Add to dry ingredients and mix well. Drop by spoonfuls into hot oil. Cook until golden brown on all sides. Can serve with powdered sugar or mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
