1 lb. ground hamburger.
1 large onion (diced).
1/2 small turnip (diced).
2 large carrots (diced).
5 large potatoes (diced).
1 stalk celery (diced).
1 large can diced tomatoes.
Salt and pepper to taste.
1 T. Worchestershire sauce.

Directions:
Fry up hamburger and onions in a Dutch-oven pot on stove top. Dice up vegetables and add to pot. Cover vegetables with water and cook. Add can of diced tomatoes last and continue to let simmer. Add salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce seasoning and let simmer until vegetables are tender and flavor is through-out the vegetables.

I normally cook this soup on the weekend so I can have hearty meals during the week. The flavor improves the longer it simmers. It makes for a good winter meal.
