2 c. granulated sugar
3 eggs
3/4 c. oil
1 T. vanilla
3 or 4 overly ripe bananas, mashed
2 full tsp. baking soda and 1 tsp. instant coffee dissolved in 1/3 c. water
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
3 c. sifted flour
1 full tsp. baking powder
Powdered sugar

Using electric mixer:
Mix well :sugar, eggs and oil, add vanilla then bananas.
Add baking soda/coffee/water mixture, then nuts.
Add flour and baking powder, nuts. Mixture will be heavy but smooth.
Pour into greased 9"x13" metal pan, bake 350º oven for 1 hour.
Allow to cool before cutting. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
