6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, pounded
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
1 jar (27.7 oz) Ragu Old World Style Pasta Sauce©
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp. sugar
Mushrooms
Parmesan cheese, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Add sugar and mushrooms to pasta sauce. Dip chicken in eggs, then bread crumbs, coating well. In 12 in. skillet, heat oil over medium heat and brown chicken. Drain on paper towels.

Evenly spread 1 cup pasta sauce in 11 x 7 in. baking dish. Arrange chicken in dish and top with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and, if desired, parmesan cheese.

Bake 25 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.

I bake this dish covered until the last 10 minutes. Uncover and continue baking, serve with spaghetti.
