6 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
Sour dough bread, buttered on one side
8 oz. grated cheese of choice
1/2 lb. chopped ham (or cook sausage, crumbled)
9x12 Pyrex dish, lightly oiled

Directions:
Directions:
Place sour dough bread, buttered side down, in bottom of glass pan
(Trim bread so that bottom of pan is covered)
Sprinkle ham or sausage evenly over bread
Combine beaten eggs and milk and pour over bread/meat mixture
Sprinkle cheese over mixture, cover with foil
Refrigerate overnight or at least 8 hours.
Bake 1 hour in 350šoven, remove foil last 10 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes or so before cutting.
Leftovers can be frozen and reheated in microwave

Adapt recipe to taste--use green chilis instead of meat, crumbled bacon also great. Our family's favorite Holiday breakfast as no one has to stand over the stove and cook--just pop in oven and you have a carefree breakfast!!
