1 c. diced celery
1 can tuna
1 can bean sprouts
1/2 c. diced onion
1 can mushroom soup
1 small (no. 2) can Chow Mein Noodles
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. cashew nuts chopped OR 4 oz. sliced almonds

Mix all ingredients and bake at 325º 50 to 60 minutes in buttered casserole - covered.

Mom's notation at the end of the recipe: "very good." Casseroles were so big back in the day, and I think they always will be.
