1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 can cherry pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick butter or margarine
pecans, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Lightly grease a 9 x 13 pan. Spread crushed pineapple in bottom of pan, spoon cherry pie filling evenly over pineapple. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over cherry pie filling. Place pecan halves or sprinkle chopped pecans over cake mix. Slice stick of butter or margarine into thin slices and place on top of nuts. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until browned on top.
