1 frying chicken
1 c. uncooked rice
1 can mushroom soup
1 pkg. onion soup mix

Directions:
Directions:
Cut up frying chicken. Mix together 1 cup uncooked rice and a good 1/2 cup water, maybe a little more. Put this mixture in bottom of shallow baking dish. Place chicken pieces on top of rice. Mix mushroom soup and onion soup mix and pour over chicken. Put foil completely thightly over tip. Bake 1 hour in 350º oven. Remove foil to brown a litttle or add a little more water.

This recipe was pretty much written verbatum from Mom's own handwritten recipe that I remember her making often. It always turned out good and fed the four of us along with salad, bread and of course, dessert.
