4 c. tart apples, peeled & sliced
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. quick-cooking oats
1 pkg. (3.5 oz.) cook-and-serve butterscotch pudding
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. flour
1/2 c. butter, cubed
ice cream (opt.)

Directions:
Place the apples in an ungreased 11x7 baking dish. In a large bowl, whisk the brown sugar, 1 tablespoon flour, water and milk. Pour over apples.
In another bowl, combine oats, pudding mix, sugar, cinnamon, salt and 2/3 c. flour. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples.
Bake at 350º for 45-50 minutes or until topping is golden brown and the fruit is tender. Serve warm with ice cream if desired.
