1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. rolled oats
1/2 lb. salted Spanish peanuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening. Add sugars gradually. Add vanilla and eggs; beat well. Sift flour and baking soda then add to mixture. Add rolled oats and peanuts; mix well. Shape dough with hands into small balls. Bake at 425º for about 7 minutes.
