S & S and I were talking about the submission of some of the fun and anxious times at the dinner table--funny stories, like "Scott, who??" when Scott called to talk to Daddy about asking for SJ's hand in marriage, the Sunday mornings listening to Big Band music while Mom is in the kitchen making eggs benedict, and don't forget about Sara Lee coffee cakes, butter streusel and the pecan--i am still buying those. What about the napkin game that Julie and I played, probably while the twins and Marcy were talking about who was not at school that day. That is what prompted the report at the dinner table that sent me into an anxious frenzy. Julie was too young to read, little s***!! (But she had to come up with a new vocabulary word from Reader's Digest). And what about, whose day it was? Marcy just let the dishes pile up and we'd yell, "we're piling them up, Marcy!! And it didn't bother her one bit.
