1 ½ C water

Bring ingredients to a simmer. Cover and let simmer for 12-15 minutes or until water is absorbed.

A nice alternative to rice or pasta, this grain is chewy. It is best with additives like sautéed mushrooms and onions and/or main courses with a sauce or gravy. You can buy it from a market with bulk bins.
