1 precooked rotisserie chicken
7 c. chicken broth
3 tsp. dried parsley flakes
1 1/2 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 pkg. (16 oz.) Reames Homestyle Egg Noodles
1/3 c. flour
3 c. milk
(optional)
3 c. diced carrots
1 pkg. frozen peas

Directions:
Directions:
De-bone & skin from chicken and cut into small pieces. In large pot, add chicken, broth and spices. Bring to boil. Add noodles, (Optional: carrots & peas) and return to a boil. Reduce heat and cover; simmer 20 to 30 minutes or until done.
Meanwhile in a liquid-tight container, combine 1 c. milk and flour; shake well until smooth. Add to noodle mixture with remaining 2 c. of milk. Continue cooking over medium heat until thickened and heated through.

This can be easily doubled and spices can be adjusted to taste. It takes less than 1 hour from start to finish and is very good.
