2 c. Brown Sugar
2 c. White Flour
½ c. Shortening
Dash of Salt
1 Egg
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 c. Sour Milk
Vanilla Ice Cream

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 4 ingredients. Take out 1 cup and set aside. Mix the egg, soda and milk into the remaining mixture. Pour cake batter into a 9x13" pan. Sprinkle the 1 cup of topping mixture on top of batter.
Bake at 350º for 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve with ice cream.
