2 onions, sliced
2 butternut squashes, peeled and cut into chunks
2 sweet potatoes, peeled, and cut into chunks
2 cups turnips, peeled and cut into small pieces
3-4 carrots
2 cups beans
2 cans chick peas, drained
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 T. curry
1-2 T. olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Put onions, squash, turnips, carrots and sweet potatoes in a pot and cover with water. Simmer covered until vegetables are soft. Add chick peas, beans, garlic, seasonings and oil. Continue to simmer another 20 minutes. Puree with an immersion blender, or in small batches in a blender. Adjust the liquids and seasonings to taste.
