1 1/2 cups water
1 cinnamon stick
3/4 cup light bodied red wine
2 T. Grand Marnier
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup heavy cream
2 T. lemon juice
1/4 cup sour cream
2 quarts strawberries, hulled and pureed

Directions:
In a 5-quart saucepan, combine water, wine, Grand Marnier, sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon stick. Boil uncovered about 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Add strawberry puree and continue boiling, stirring frequently. Bring to boil again. Cool. Discard cinnamon stick. Whip cream and stir in sour cream. Fold into strawberry mixture. Refrigerate several hours(overnight is best). When ready to serve, garnish with a reserved whole sliced strawberry.
