1 c. real butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 sleeve saltine crackers
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Optional: Chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Line cookie sheet with foil and spray with non-stick spray. Put saltines in a single layer on cookie sheet. Boil butter and brown sugar for 3 minutes. Very important! Butter and sugar must boil for 3 minutes, not just cook. Pour over saltines. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes or until crackers float (the floating part is important).
Remove from oven, sprinkle on chocolate chips. When chips are melted, spread with spatula. Add pecans if desired. Chill thoroughly and then break or cut into pieces.
