1 (18.25 oz) cake mix
1 - 16 oz container prepared cake frosting
1 - 3 oz bar chocolate flavored confectioner's coating (also known as Almond Bark)

Directions:
Prepare the cake mix as directed. When cake is done, crumble while warm into a large mixing bowl, and stir in the frosting until well blended. Form into ping-pong size balls and freeze for 20-30 minutes. Melt chocolate coating in a Pyrex dish in the microwave. Remove and stir until smooth. Dip balls into chocolate and let set on wax paper.

You can mix and match cake and icing flavors as well as chocolate coatings. Try rolling the balls in nuts, sprinles, or coconut.
