3/4 cup heavy cream
¼ cup confectioners’ sugar
1 tablespoon bourbon

Directions:
Directions:
Make whipped cream. As pie is cooling (do not put on top of hot pie) whip the cream in a chilled bowl of an electric mixer to very soft peaks. Add bourbon and confectioner’s sugar 1 T at a time, continue whipping to just-stiff peaks. Transfer to a serving bowl or add large dollop to slices of pie.
