1 qt. hulled strawberries
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. red food coloring
1 c. water
1/4 tsp. lemon extract
2 Tbsp. strawberry jello
or sugarless strawberry jello
whipped cream or topping
Directions:
Directions:
Wash berries and set aside. Combine sugar, cornstarch, and water; whisk together. Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes or until thick and clear. Add flavoring and coloring. Place a thin layer of glaze in bottom of baked, cooled pie shell. Place berries in pie shell and pour remaining glaze over berries while still very hot. Chill until set.
