2 cups water
2 eggs
1/3 cup sugar
1 Tsp salt
1/2 cup melted lard or oil
1 Tbsp yeast

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve sugar in water, add yeast and let sit for 10 minutes. Mix remaining ingredients and add enough flour to make a soft dough. Mix well. Let rise, knead and let rise again. Roll and cut into circles 2-3” around. Fill, fold edges and seal well. Bake at 350ºF for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Filling Options:
1. Potatoes, salt and pepper to taste, 1/2 cup fine chopped onions, 1 Tbsp dill weed, 1 cup cottage cheese, 1 cup cheddar cheese. Boil and mash potatoes well, add salt and pepper and dill. Cool and add cheeses, mix well.
2. 2 lbs cottage cheese, 3 Tbsp dill weed. Mix well.
After they are baked, butter the tops of the buns
