2 c. sugar
1 c. light Karo syrup
1/2 c. cold water
pinch of salt

Directions:
Cook until it spins a thread - 235º. Then add 1 lb. unroasted spanish peanuts & cook until golden brown - 290º. Add 1 t. soda, stir well and pour into greased 10 x 15 pan. Cool and break up.
