6 1 ounce milky Way bars
1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
4 eggs
2 1/2 cups flour
t. salt
1/2 baking soda
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 t. vanilla extract

TOPPING
2 cups sugar
1 13 ounce can evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup marshmallows creme

Directions:
Directions:
Melt Milky Way bars with 1/2 cup butter in a saucepan, stirring constantly.

Cream 2 cups sugar, shortening and eggs in mixer bowl until light and fluffy.

Combine flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl. Add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture. Stir in milky mixture and 1 t. vanilla. Pour into 2 greased and floured cake pans, bake at 350 for 25 minutes. cool completely

TOPPING
Combine 2 cups sugar, evaporated milk and 1/2 cup butter in a saucepan. Cook until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly: remove from heat. Add chocolate chips and marshmallow cream stirring until chocolate chips melt.

Spread between cake layers and over the tops and side of cake.
