1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 can Golden Mushroom soup
1 c. small bread cubes
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 t. salt
Generous dash pepper
2 c. mashed potatoes
1/4 c. water
1 to 2 T. drippings

Directions:
Directions:
Mix thoroughly beef, 1/2 c. soup, bread, onion, egg, salt, and pepper. Shape firmly into loaf; place in shallow baking pan. Bake at 350º for one hour. Frost loaf with potatoes; bake 15 minutes more. Blend remaining soup, water, and drippings. Heat. Serve with loaf.
