1 cup melted butter
4 eggs
1 1/3 cup sugar
2 cups buttermilk
1 tsp baking soda
2 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 cup corn meal

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter, eggs, and sugar. In seperate bowl, combine buttermilk and baking soda. Add to egg mixture with flour and salt. Stir in corn meal. Bake in greased 9x13 pan at 350º for about 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.

For 8x8 pan, half recipe and bake for about 20-25 minutes. Check frequently; it cooks faster than you would think.
