6 Hershey bars
2 (5.5-oz.) cans chocolate syrup
1 c. margarine or butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 ½ c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 c. buttermilk
¼ tsp. salt
½ tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Melt candy bars in syrup over low flame. Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time. Add salt and soda to buttermilk. Add flour and buttermilk alternately. Mix well and add chocolate (cooled) last. Cook in greased and floured 10-inch tube pan at 350º for 1 ½ hours. Cool ten minutes. Turn out and cool completely.
