1½ c. Sugar
½ c. Shortening
2 - 3 Bananas, Ripe
2 Eggs
4 tbsp. Milk
1 tsp, Vanilla
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Baking Powder
2 c. White Flour
½ c. Hot Water
Frosting:
½ Banana
1/3 c. Shortening
2 c. Powdered Sugar
2 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add bananas. Add eggs, milk & vanilla; mix well. Sift together soda, flour & baking powder. Mix in dry ingredients alternating with hot water. Pour batter into 9x13" greased pan & bake at 350º for 35 min. Let Cool. Mix frosting ingredients until creamy. Additional powdered sugar may be added.
