12 oz uncooked ziti
2tsp olive oil
2 cloves minced garlic
1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 tsp each of dried oregano, thyme and rosemary
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
28 oz of fire-roasted canned crushed tomatoes
1 cup part-skim shredded mozzarella

Pre-heat oven to 350º. Cook pasta and set aside. Heat olive oil in medium pan and saute garlic for about 2 minutes. Add beef and cook for about 5 minutes, breaking up the beef. Drain off the fat and put pan back on medium heat. Add oregano, thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper. Stir and cook for about 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and bring to a boil, reduce and simmer for 5 minutes. Spoon a ladle of meat sauce into bottom of a casserole dish. Top with half of ziti. layer half of meat sauce on top. Along with half the cheese. Layer remaining ziti and remaining meat sauce. Sprinkle remaining cheese.
Bake until golden and bubbly; about 30 minutes.

You can finish with a little parm. This is a low-cal recipe but everyone loves it. Also, it is only low-cal if you stick to one portion!
