1 c. Butter
½ c. Powdered Sugar, plus extra for coating cookies
2 tsp. Vanilla
¼ tsp. Salt
2 c. White Flour
½ c. Chopped Pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and powdered sugar together, then add rest of the ingredients and mix well.
Roll into 1" balls.
Bake at 400º for 10 -12 minutes.
They crack a little bit when they are done.
Cool.
Place a little powdered sugar in a small paper bag and shake them gently until they are covered with powdered sugar.
