4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons +2 teaspoons flour
1 cup +3 Tablespoons chicken broth
3 Tablespoons mayonnaise
1 Tablespoon sour cream
3 slices of American cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Preheat oven 325 degrees. In greased baking dish, layer potatoes and onions. In sauce pan, melt butter stir in flour until smooth. Add remaining ingredients. Cook for approximately 2 minutes or until thick and bubbly. Pour over potatoes. Cover and bake for 2 hours or until tender.
