1 1/2 pound beef stew meat, cut in small pieces
1/4 cup cooking oil
1/2 onion, minced
1/8 cup soy sauce
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup water
1 cup green pepper, cut in 1 inch pieces
1 T. cornstarch
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef strips in skillet in hot oil. Add onion and cook until yellow. Add soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt and 1/4 cup water. Cook 45 minutes over low heat. Stir in cornstarch blended with 1 cup water. Cook 10 minutes. This makes the gravy. Serve over hot rice or noodles. Serves 5.

Only cook green peppers 5 minutes with the gravy.
