5lbs potatoes
1 lb bacon
3 onions chopped
5 stalks celery chopped
4 Tbsp sugar
4 Tbsp flour
2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp blk pepper
2 cups water
1 cup vinegar
Directions:
Directions:
Boil peeled potatoes till tender
cook bacon till crisp, then crumble
Saute onion & celery in bacon fat
Dissolve flour in cold water. Heat vinegar, add sugar, salt, pepper, onions,bacon. Slowly add flour water. Stirring constantly till thick. (like gravy). Pour over potatoes.
Serve warm
