1 lb. Jimmy Dean regular sausage
1 lb. Jimmy Dean hot sausage
4 jars of Kraft Old English Cheese Spread
2 packages of Thomas' English Muffins

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to broil. Cut all the English Muffins in half and place rough side up on 2 large cookie sheets. Toast until hard on the top (2-3 minutes). Set aside. Turn off oven.

In a large skillet cook sausage over medium until brown. Drain. Return to skillet. Reduce heat to med-low. Add cheese. Stir until melted and evenly coated on the sausage. Spoon about 2 spoonfuls of mixture onto the bread. Mixture should be enough for all the English Muffins.

These have been a Richardson tradition at any special occasion or get together for as long as I can remember. Growing-up, anytime we would have out-of-town guests or at Christmas, Mom would make these and they would be gone before the end of the day. I served them for my first holiday with my in-laws and now they have become a Chico tradition as well. Everyone always makes sure there will be Sausage Thing-ies.
