Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger, browned
Tortilla Chips
1 lb cheddar cheese
1 can refried beans, heated until almost soupy
salsa
onion powder
garlic powder
cumin powder
salt & pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Mix hamburger with your favorite salsa and seasonings until desired consistency and flavor. Can also add cilantro, jalepenos, etc. to achieve the taste to your liking.

Place tortilla chips over bottom of 9 x 13 casserole dish, so that chips are touching, but not overlapping. The key to this dish is equal portions of all ingredients in each bite.

Spoon some of the hamburger mixture over the chips, evenly distributing. Spoon some of the refried beans over the meat mixture, in healthy dollops. Cover with cheese. Repeat, in layers, until all of the ingredients are used.

Bake at 375º until heated through, and cheese is melted and bubbly. Be careful not to bake too long, or chips will get soggy.

Serve with your favorite toppings; sour cream, salsa, black olives, jalepenos, etc.

Personal Notes:
This is the first dish Ken ever cooked for me, and is one of my favorite dishes today. Be sure to bring your fork to eat these nachos!
