1 jar grape leaves-or fresh grape leaves
2 pounds lamb (diced small)
1 cup raw rice
Fresh ground pepper
Salt
3 lemons

1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon allspice

Directions:
Directions:
Wash the grape leaves well in cold water to remove the salt and dirt if fresh. Mix together the rice, lamb and spices in bowl. Place 1 tablespoon meat mixture in middle of leaf, fold bottom of leaf up over filling and tuck under. Fold sides over center and complete rolling, (not too tightly). Place slice of raw onion on bottom of pan and then grape leaves on top of onion. Place rolled grape leaves next to each other and then layer on top with remaining leaves. Cover with water half way to top of pan. Heat, cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
