1 c. butter
1 c. butter flavored Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp.salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, Crisco and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Combine remaining dry ingredients in separate bowl, then add to mixture and mix well. Refrigerate dough for about 2 hours, roll into balls then roll in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet and flatten. Bake at 350º for 9-10 minutes.
