2 lbs. stew meat
1 envelope beefy onion soup mix
3-6 potatoes, cubed
1 can sliced carrots, drained
1 can peas, drained
1 c. chopped celery (optional)
1 medium onion, diced
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. kitchen bouquet
cornstarch
water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine stew meat and soup mix in a large dutch oven. Cover with water. Add salt and pepper and cook on stove on high heat until meat is tender. You may need to add more water as it evaporates. Add potatoes, onions and celery and cook until tender. Add peas, carrots and kitchen bouquet. Combine 4-5 Tbsp. cornstarch with 1/2 c. water and whisk together. Stir into stew until desired thickness is reached. Serve with buttered noodles or rice.
