8 C milk
1 stick of butter
3/4 C -1 C sugar
1 C arborio rice
1 egg
1/2 pt. heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 oz Amaretto (optional)
cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, bring milk, butter and sugar to a boil. Add rice. SIMMER 45 minutes. Stir often. Beat together egg, cream, vanilla and Amaretto and add to cooked rice. Cook an additional 15 minutes. Mix thoroughly. Put in serving dish and let cool. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Refrigerate.
