1 1/4 C Flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp baking powder
3/4 C applesauce
1/4 C shortening
1 C sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 C water
1 egg
1/2 C raisins
1/4 C chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cloves

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour one loaf pan. Combine all ingredients into one bowl, excluding raisins and nuts. Blend mixture on low speed-scrape sides. Once all ingredient's have been mixed, beat on medium speed for approximate. 2 minutes. Fold in raisins and/or nuts. Pour into loaf pan. Bake 50-60 min or until toothpick comes out clean.
