Topping:
6 T. flour
¼ C. packed light brown sugar
¼ C. granulated sugar
¼ t. cinnamon
¼ t. nutmeg
¼ t. salt
¾ C. finely chopped walnuts or pecans
5 T. butter, cut into ½ inch pieces
Filling:
3 pounds peaches, peeled, pitted and cut into small wedges
2 T. cornstarch

Directions:

Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add the butter and toss to coat. Pinch the butter mixture between your fingers until it looks like crumbly wet sand. Add the nuts and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before baking.
