12 slices bread
1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
5 eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4-1/2 cup vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in 9x13 pan.
Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over bottom of pan.
Place 6 slices of bread on top of sugar mixture.
Then lay the remaining 6 slices of bread on top of the 1st layer.
Beat the eggs and milk together.
Now add vanilla until the mixture turns a light tan.
Pour over bread.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake uncovered at 350° for 45 minutes.
Serve as is or add powered sugar or syrup
