2 c. melted butter (more as needed)
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cinnamon

Work Opal Miller's Rolls recipe through the first rising.

Mix sugar and cinnamon. Change ratio to fit your tastes. Add chopped nuts if you'd like.
Preheat oven to 375º. Spray cookie sheets with Pam, then brush them with melted butter.

Oil counter top and hands. Pinch off pieces of dough big enough to roll into 6" lengths that are about 1/2" wide. Dip dough strips into melted butter, roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture then tie in a single knot.

Place dough knots on the pan, evenly spaced; and brush with melted butter (yes, more melted butter!). Cover and let rise for 1 hour.

Bake for 18-20 minutes.

Grandma pulled out this little trick during our roll and noodle making session. I'd never tasted them before. So I think she was holding out on the grand kids.
