1 whole chicken
5 c. water (yields 4 1/2 c. broth)
1 1/2 c. rice, raw
2 lb. pork sausage, browned and drained
1 green pepper
3 celery stalks
1 onion
3 pkgs. dry Lipton chicken noodle soup
3 T. lemon juice
1/2 lb. almonds, sliced
4 1/2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Boil chicken in 5 cups water until legs pull off. Save 4 1/2 c. broth. Chop and saute green onion, celery and onion in 3 T. butter. Mix remaining ingredients, except chicken, in roasting pan with tight cover. Bake for 40 minutes. Stir. Bake another 40 minutes. Stir. Add chicken and heat 15 minutes more.
