9 slices white bread, crusts removed
4 c. diced cooked chicken
4 oz. can mushrooms, drained
2-5 oz. cans sliced water chestnuts
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup
4 eggs
2 c. milk
1 t. salt
9 slices cheddar cheese
bread crumbs
1/4 c. melted butter
2 cans marinated artichoke hearts, drained and cut in bite-size pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Line 9" x 13" buttered casserole with bread. Layer chicken, mushrooms and water chestnuts. Combine mayonnaise and soups; spread over top layer. Beat together eggs, milk and salt. Pour over soup layer. Top with cheese and refrigerate 24 hours. Bake 1 - 1 1/2 hours at 350º. If cheese gets too brown, cover with foil. Mix crumbs with melted butter and sprinkle on during last 15 minutes of baking time.
