2/3 c. sugar
1 c. corn syrup
2 T. bourbon whiskey
3 eggs
1/3 c. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (9 in.) refrigerated pie crust, uncooked

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375ºF. Beat sugar, corn syrup, bourbon, eggs, butter and salt together in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy. Fold in pecans and chocolate chips. Pour mixture into pie crust. If desired, cover edges of pie with aluminum foil strips to prevent excessive browning. Bake until center sets, about 50 minutes. Cool before serving.
